What are the hours?

Our regular schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Which areas do you serve?

We cover Jefferson County and Shelby County, generally staying within a 30-mile radius of our office.

Where is the office located?

What positions are available?

We primarily hire carpenter apprentices and journeymen, as that’s where we need the most help in the field. We aren’t hiring for any other trades at this time.

Are there any employee benefits?

Paid Vacation: 1 week in your first year, 2 weeks PTO after that.
Paid Holidays: We take off major holidays, and they count as paid days
Medical Coverage: Excellent Blue Cross Blue Shield plan, with half of employee premiums covered by HRS
Dental and Vision: Excellent coverage at an excellent price.

Is HRS hiring right now?

While we’re always interested in talking to motivated, talented individuals, we typically bring on new team members during late spring and summer.

Are company vehicles provided?

Yes, our teams use company trucks.

What is the application process like?

There are usually three rounds of interviews:
1. Meeting with the owners
2. Meeting with our project leaders
3. Meeting with our field leadership team
All new hires must pass a background check and drug test.

Is there training or support for new hires?

Absolutely. You’ll receive hands-on training everyday, as you work alongside our team.
